I'm Tim Schwarz, a product and experience designer based in Gothenburg.
My work sits at the intersection of experience design, interaction, and physical product — from early ideation through prototyping and validation. I'm drawn to the moments where design has to do real work: clarify a complex function, survive contact with actual users, or bridge the gap between intent and physical reality.
I use prototyping and making as tools to think and test, not as an end goal. Getting ideas into physical or interactive form early is how I help teams move faster and make better decisions.
Currently I work at Zeekr in Gothenburg, where I develop experience and interaction concepts. Before that, I was at Designit in Munich, working on product design projects across industries including Nespresso and BSH. Earlier in my career I interned at Eggs Design in Oslo, Phoenix Design in Shanghai, and Indeed Innovation in Hamburg — building exposure across consumer electronics, furniture, and home appliances.
I hold an MFA in Advanced Product Design from Umeå Institute of Design and a BA in Industrial Design from FH Joanneum in Graz.
Outside of work I build things. Personal projects in mechanical design and fabrication keep me close to materials, tools, and the details of how things actually come together.
